Webflow Framework

Built for Scale

The System.EXE design system: colour tokens, type scale, spacing scale and utility classes

The naming simplicity of Client-First. The fluid, variable-driven power of Lumos. System.EXE is the ultimate design-to-development system for high-volume Webflow studios.

Webflow Development Evolved. The old Frameworks Didn’t

We built hundreds of Webflow projects using the industry’s most popular frameworks. But as our studio scaled, we hit a wall.

Utility-heavy frameworks created "div-ception", forcing us to build endless spacing wrappers that cluttered the DOM. Attribute-heavy frameworks required our designers to basically learn how to code just to name a Figma layer. We were spending more time managing the framework than actually building the website. So, we engineered a way out.

Class soup: dozens of utility classes stacked on nested divs

Margin chaos: misaligned blocks with conflicting margin values and a broken mobile layout

Margin Chaos

Broken handoff: Figma variables that no longer match the Webflow build
03.

Broken Handoffs

Stacking 6 utility classes just to center a div and add padding? It's unreadable, impossible to hand off, and makes every future developer want to start from scratch.

Relying on margins for spacing leads to collapsing margins, complex overrides, and broken mobile layouts. One spacing change breaks three other things.

When Figma variables don't perfectly match Webflow variables, developers have to guess. And when developers guess, the design director cries.

A system designed for
speed, scale, and sanity.
Color palette chart with semantic color blocks labeled with names and shades like primary orange-400, success green-700.
01.
Tokens Done Right
System.EXE uses a strict 3-tier token architecture, primitive, semantic, and component. Colors, spacing, and type aren't magic numbers. They mean something, and they cascade exactly the way you'd expect.
03.
Class Names That Don't Clutter Your Style Selector
.u-m-1 not .utility-margin-small-top-bottom-desktop. Short, scannable names mean your Webflow class panel stays clean, less scrolling, less squinting, more building.
Black background with large white text 'Drifting Beyond Orbit' and abstract white orbiting shapes.
02.
Typography That Works For Every Design Approach
Conventional layouts? H1 maps to 5xl, H2 to 4xl, consistent and predictable. But when the design calls for an H2 that hits like an H1, just apply 6xl. The heading role and visual size are independent. Your document structure stays clean. Your design stays free.
User interface design system with color palette, theme options, and text size settings on a dark background.
04.
Code That's Structured From The Start
System.EXE starter kits go beyond blank slates. Need an SPA with Barba.js? The kit comes with the full architecture already in place, routing, transitions, and token integration wired together the right way, not hacked in after the fact.

Finally, a framework
designers and
developers agree on.

For Designers

Design with mathematical confidence

Your Figma Auto-Layout gaps mirror Webflow space variables. Your local variables map perfectly to Webflow's theme collections. No more guessing how your design will translate to the browser.

For Developers

Build without the friction

No more staring at a blank canvas wondering what to name a div. Use our pre-built Global / components, drop in your custom variables, and execute complex fluid grids with a single u-grid-custom utility class.

Everything you need to deploy today.
