WHO WE ARE
Exe.Eyes ("we") is a design and development studio based in Ontario, Canada, and runs exeeyes.com. This policy explains what personal information the site collects, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. We follow Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
WHAT WE COLLECT
- What you send us. When you use the brief form or email us: your name, email, company, website, and what you tell us about your project, timing and budget.
- Usage data, only if you accept cookies. Google Analytics 4 records pages visited, rough location (country or city), device and browser. It does not run until you click Accept in the cookie banner.
- Your cookie choice. We store whether you accepted or declined, so we don't ask on every page.
- Small browser settings. A few preferences, like a banner you closed, stay in your own browser and are never sent to us.
- Basic server logs. Our host keeps standard logs (IP address, time, page requested) to run and secure the site.
We don't sell personal information, and we don't use advertising cookies.
WHY WE USE IT
- To reply to your enquiry and prepare a proposal.
- To run, secure and improve the site.
- To understand which pages are useful (analytics, only with your consent).
We only use your information for these purposes, or where the law requires it.
WHO PROCESSES IT FOR US
- Hostinger hosts the website and the form service, in data centres outside Canada.
- Resend sends us the email notification of your brief, from the United States.
- Google Analytics measures site usage, only with your consent, in the United States.
These providers handle data under contract and their own security measures. Information processed outside Canada may be accessible to authorities in that country under its laws.
HOW LONG WE KEEP IT
- Briefs and email conversations: up to 24 months after our last contact. If we work together, for the length of the engagement plus 7 years for tax records.
- Analytics data: 14 months, then deleted by Google.
- Your cookie choice: 12 months.
YOUR CHOICES AND RIGHTS
You can ask us to:
- show you the personal information we hold about you;
- correct it if it's wrong;
- delete it, unless we must keep it by law;
- stop using it for analytics. You can also change your choice anytime with Cookie settings in the footer.
Email info@exeeyes.com and we'll reply within 30 days. If you're not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada. If you're in the EU or UK, you have similar rights under the GDPR and can contact your local data protection authority.
SECURITY
We use HTTPS, limit who on our team can see enquiries, and protect our forms against spam. No method is perfect, so please don't send passwords or sensitive personal details through the form.
CHILDREN
The site is for businesses and isn't directed at anyone under 16.
CHANGES
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page and note significant changes here.
